A $5 million investment in green spaces will create three new parks and upgrade existing facilities across the city.
The initiative, approved unanimously by the City Council, includes:
- Construction of Riverside Park (15 acres)
- Development of Oak Street Playground
- Creation of Meadowbrook Nature Preserve
- Upgrades to existing park facilities
Construction is expected to begin in spring and be completed within 18 months.
